Regulatory Agencies Consulting
Novaster has been regularly collaborating with regulatory and supervisory organisations in Latin America on the design and development of monitoring standards, systems, and processes, technical and actuarial analysis, and the training of staff. Our skills and experience enable us to handle successfully any consultation on these matters offered to those responsible for organizing the pensions market.
Welfare Institutions Advice
Novaster has direct experience in the administration of pension funds in Latin America and therefore has the ability to advise both pension funds, and the institutions that manage those funds. Also when deciding upon and evaluating welfare schemes, during their implementation, and in the analysis of costs and formulation of benefits.
The service offered by Novaster is based on a profound understanding of the methodology and technicalities of welfare schemes and also of the national environment in which they are applied, so can thereby achieve an appropriate adaptation to the specific nature of local circumstances.
Novaster complements its consultancy offer with training in all those matters which come within the activities it undertakes. There are multiple training courses tailor-made for institutions, which make full use of both Novaster's consulting resources and the experience as university teachers who make up a significant proportion of the Novaster team. This enables us to design and deliver highly practical courses adapted to the needs of each customer, but using a well verified professional teaching methodology.
Novaster regularly collaborates with a number of institutions in the development of training programmes on various topics, at various levels and of differing lengths, from day or short seminars, to courses and qualifications of longer duration. These programmes are delivered in cooperation with professional colleges, magazines, newspapers or vocational training institutions, Spanish or international universities. Of special note is the Global Pensions Programme, a high level course delivered annually upon which the London School of Economics and Novaster collaborate.
Multinational Group of Actuaries and Consultants (MGAC), a network of independent consultants, to which Novaster belongs. Novaster and its global partners in MGAC have more than 6,000 employees in more than 35 countries, advise more than 3,000 companies worldwide, including two thirds of the major multinationals that make up the FTSE Global 100 Index.
